Training

NEW VOLUNTEERS – CLICK HERE to register for training!

Training is required for all volunteers. There is an initial six-hour training required by CEF USA for all adult volunteers that is provided FREE of cost. The 2-session training is available during both day and evening hours. Each session lasts about three hours with breaks. These trainings are scheduled prior to each club season.

Note: Youth training sessions are available to students ages 12-18 who want to volunteer.

What will I learn?

At training, you will learn how to volunteer in an after-school Good News Club. This includes:

  • Small Group Mentoring
  • Teaching a Bible verse
  • Leading a Song
  • Sharing a Missionary Story
  • Teaching the Bible lesson (IF you are interested in being a Bible teacher)
  • Playing Review Games
