Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day

Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™)

The Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) program is designed to prepare Christian teens and college-age young people to make a direct impact on the spiritual lives of elementary-age kids in the local community. The CYIA program provides thorough training that equips these young people, called CYIA Summer Missionaries, to introduce children who don’t already know Jesus to Him, and equips them to challenge the spiritual growth of children who already have a personal relationship with Christ. The CYIA program works in conjunction with CEF’s 5-Day Club, VBS and Camp Good News programs for children, which are hosted by local churches, Christian organizations and Christian individuals. Teams of trained Summer Missionaries who complete the CYIA training program go out into the community to lead these ministries all across the Lancaster County.

If you are interested in becoming a CYIA Summer Missionary, contact Emilee Aument-Kratz at eakratz@ceflancaster.org for more information.

How Can I Get Involved?

There are several opportunities to be involved with a Good News Club. You can pray for the children and teachers in the club. Become a club teacher or helper by contacting your local chapter and asking about training and opportunities.
